When I did open it up, start to work with it, and notice what an overprice piece of junk it was, it was past the return window. From the initial advertising I had the impression the "internal battery" would be sufficient. I bought this with a little trust in Spypoint that I would be able to rely on the battery and interchange it with my older cameras as needed. The Link Micros I have with the LIT-10 battery are amazing, I'll never go back to cycling out a pile of AAs every week. But that is what the Flex needs, the internal battery will do dead in a matter of days even with plenty of sun. Not only is the included battery insufficient to support operations off of the solar panel, but they changed the replaceable lithium LIT-10 to a new LIT-22 version. The reviews of the new one are horrendous, I didn't even think about spending the extra amount on something that should have been included in the first place. On top of this even, just looking at the form factor of the new battery you can see how it is flat compared to the previous one's cube shape, meaning it will submit to cold problems more quickly from heat loss, just when you need the battery most. Besides battery issues, it just hasn't worked well even when charged.
