I purchased another PG1, over a month later, and it does the exact same thing!The 5x zoom lens (2nd lens) is also basically pointless. This lens is only active if you keep the camera zoomed to 5x (anything above 5x is also digital using the 5x lens). When the 5x lens is active the primary lens turns off (and vice versa). If you record from the primary lens all zoom is digital. If you keep the 5x lens active what you see is likely too far away to trigger the PIR motion detection.
