None of my other cameras have this problem. If I reset them they keep WiFi info. Haven't mounted it yet. It charges great with the included solar panel and is simple to install and set up. If you want a camera for actual security keep looking. The motion detection is very poor. It doesn't pick up a person walking directly at the camera (it did trigger recording once or twice but I was completely out of the field of view by the time it started). It doesn't do much better at catching a person walking directly away from the camera.
