I haven't tested many features, because I can't get the software needed to configure its use. If this continues, I'll have to return the 3 units I ordered. Updates will be made to this review if there is any progress. |

Updates will be made to this review if there is any progress.UPDATE: after getting the software and buying more cameras and setting up 5 of these cameras, I can provide the following information: 2 minor damage in shipment (fixed myself) 3 appear to be used based on missing parts (Ethernet cables in 2) and leftover previous camera internal software configuration items (fixed myself). Once I got them going, and figured out how to use the non-obvious software, and got them to work with Blue Iris, they seem to work pretty well. If you are a novice with security cameras, I wouldn't recommend these. Blue Iris recognizes these as \Cantonk\ cameras (I have no idea what that is). They seem to work well enough as fixed cameras (only one outside) with very little pan/tilt used after testing. Upgraded to 4 stars after more responsive tech support made it possible to test them. They were not listed as \used\ or \reconditioned\, but seem like they might have been returned items. |
