This is a really nice camera. The PTZ features all work as advertised but be aware that one of the main advertised features of this camera (namely dual view in the app) does not work when used in conjunction with Reolink's own NVR. From my understanding, the dual view only works if you skip the NVR and connect directly to the camera. The other issue to be aware of is that there is no optical 'zoom' lens (and the 'zoom' lens is not 4k) so there is significant distortion when zooming in. I'd bump my review up a star if the dual view feature actually worked in conjunction with the app/nvr, but the quality of the zoom picture is not great.Note: Company has had some issues with recent Android (but not iOS) updates where it prevented a user from accessing historical data for tablets and flip phones (worked on regular Android phones)...it took them over a month to fix. Therefore, my advice is to be careful when updating an app and read reviews before you do that. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that they're properly testing Android app releases. |
