This was not the case and eventually the steps that I was instructed to follow, led to cameras not being able to be viewed on the monitor connected directly to the NVR.The agent could not rectify the situation, so I was informed that escalated tech support would call me back. I received no call, so I called back after a few days. Again, I was told that escalated tech support would call me back, but I refused to disconnect the call until I spoke with someone. The "supervisor" called while I was on the call with the agent. I explained the situation and again I followed the instructed steps. This time, the cameras stopped working on my computer. Now they were unable to viewed on the app, the monitor connected to the NVR or the computer. Again, I was told that the situation would be escalated and I would receive a call.Again, there was no call, I called back, was informed someone would call me, I refused to disconnect until I spoke with an escalation tech and someone called while I was on the call with the agent. I followed the instructed steps again, but the software won't recognize my modem/router now. I was informed it would be escalated to U.S. based support out of Houston, TX.That was over two weeks ago. I call every few days to inform them that I have not received a call, they inform me they're sending an email to their Houston support and the process begins anew. Of course, if something were to get stolen or vandalized and not caught on cameras, they won't accept responsibility.I curse the day that I bought these cameras and I should've done more research about the support, or lack thereof, by Amcrest.
