I had high hopes for this camera. It fails on nearly every issue for me. First off just let me say the wifi thing just does not work. Oh sure you can attach to the camera and see re-duced quality dinkie images on your phone but forget about downloading them. My intent was a go to cam with my phone, download whatever it took and then upload from my phone to the PC. I started a download and waited, and waited and waited and waited and after about 5 minutes just gave up. Why on earth should it take 5 minute to move a few pictures from devices 2 inches apart. Horrible. As far as picture quality, egh, not great. Pictures taken 3 seconds apart show different exposure levels. It is like the cam can't figure which setting to use. I checked low light, high light, med light and every other picture taken seconds apart uses a different exposure. Again horrible. Now I am stuck having to swap out micro SD cards in the cold with the cam strapped to a tree. Ugh. I am going to retire this one to the spares drawer and hope I never have to deploy it. VERY disappointing. |
