Like a defective unit out of box failure was my fault. replacement came for unit 2. it powered up and connected with no issues. I contacted support again to have the subscription transferred. That was quick and easy. I have both units set to update every 2 min. but when I open the app to look where the trackers are. It will say last up dated 20 min to 4 hours ago. If I hit the manual refresh it just sits at loading. If you hit the live tracking you get a count down timer of 15 min. you get get 20 live tracks a day. While it is counting down the tracker just sits at loading. A couple of times I pulled up the app to track my dogs movements and it showed him 1 mile away. He was by my side all day and we never went where he was tracked. Sometimes it would just get stuck at loading, I would check the device and it would be powered off. It should give a notification when it goes off but it doesnt. I dont know if the device gets powered off while the dogs are playing or if they are sleeping on it and it goes off. I have it set to always track and to update every 2 min. I would not put my dogs life on the reliability of these trackers. The tracking in my cell phone is way better.
