ETA: within a day of submitting my review the headset has stopped working properly. The Bluetooth constantly disconnected and reconnects. The worst part about this is that apart from frustratingly interrupting my music/audiobook/TV show, the voice says "Bluetooth disconnected" MUCH louder than my volume settings and vibrates my jaw. Uncomfortable bordering on painful. I've already started the return process and have now updated my rating accordingly...OP:I've had these for over a week now and have worn them multiple times in a few different situations.These are adequately loud without others nearby hearing, and I'm able to hear *some* ambient noise. That said, these did not work for mowing the lawn on our riding mower...I couldn't hear anything, and prefer in-ear earbuds anyway to block out the sound of the mower.They've held up to excessive sweat, doing yard work all day in 80-90°F temps, and have held their battery life just fine.I have not however tested these in the pool. I was planning to, but there was no way I could figure out to get them on comfortably with my swim cap. So this may only be an option for those who don't wear a swim cap.Finally, it's comfortable in the sense that I don't have something*in* my ears that irritates them after hours, but they do get uncomfortable*on top* of the years after prolonged use. They also are super uncomfortable if you're trying to sit down and lean back against a couch/recliner/car seat etc. the headrest will push on the back "band" pushing the unit forward/off-ish.Overall these are a decent knockoff of the name brands. These won't be my go-to, but I'll rotate them in to have variation on my ears. Next I'll try jogging and cycling with them but I have not tested them with those sports yet |
