I get nothing but weird garbled static through these. The pair with my iPhone 13 just fine. Whatever I try to play through them—phone calls, voicemail messages, music—the static starts and stops in synch with when the music/sound should (it's not continuous), but is completely unintelligible, at any volume setting. Maybe the set I received is defective and atypical.That said, these bone-conduction headphones were very nicely packaged, came with easy-to-follow directions, and appear to be well-constructed of durable materials (aside from not working).Based on my experience, I would not recommend them. |
I am very happy with these FEICO bone-conduction headphones. They arrived elegantly packaged, suitable for gifting (although I'm holding on to mine for personal use). Instructions were easy to follow, and pairing with my iPhone 13 was fast and seamless. They charge via a two-foot USB-A cable, with a proprietary magnetic connection. I have not tested them to this limit, but one hour of charging purportedly yields ten hours of playtime.The headphones appear to be well-constructed of durable materials, and supposedly can even be used in water (their IP68 rating is good for 30 minutes of use in fresh water to a maximum depth of 1.5 meters). And even if you don't plan to swim, their water-resistance rating makes them impervious to body sweat and inclement weather.Bone conduction is an amazing technology. The headphones' drivers rest between your temples and your outer ears' tragus, and transfer high-fidelity audio directly to your inner ear. This is accomplished without any audible \leakage.\ Someone standing next to you will hear nothing. Moreover, their open-ear design leaves your hearing completely unobstructed, free to monitor nearby conversations and any other ambient audio. This is a huge safety plus when walking or jogging, by maintaining situational awareness, or even just for working communally in an office. But if you'd rather be isolated from background noise, the set includes optional accessory earplugs.I've used these headphones for hands-free telephone conversations, and for listening to streaming music. They also have a 32 GB MP3 onboard storage feature, which I have not utilized. Range is good (about 30 feet). The headphones are comfortable and relatively lightweight. Note that, unlike most headphones, there is no provision for adjusting size and fit. That said, in this case, one-size-fits-all has worked just fine on my extra-large head. They also stay in place well (although I have used them exclusively in relatively sedentary activities). Another plus: my ears do not overheat, as is typically the case with conventional headphones.Truth be told, I had an initially bad experience with a defective set of these headphones. My concerns were immediately addressed by the vendor, and a replacement set quickly dispatched. This review reflects my very positive experience with that second set.I am very pleased with this product, and enthusiastically recommend it for your use. |
