Too sensitive; needs to be mounted on something stationary |
This is actually a great color and feeder design, although I wish the feeder would hold more nectar. The birds are attracted to the red with yellow flowers and the flowers allow the hummingbirds to easily navigate them (some flower designs are too tall and the hummingbirds won't use them). The camera takes quality video and it allows for solar charing, with a long cord to move the panel further away from the feeder if necessary. However, the manufacturer needs to include an attachment (base) where the feeder can be mounted to something stationary, otherwise, the camera gives constant notifications for any little thing-the wind blowing, trees moving in the background, someone walking by several feed away. It doesn't seem like the camera set up was really made for this, as it functions more like a security camera with a wide range of detection. |
