Quite often I have to tell them hold on or just pull them off to hear and when you listen to podcasts that can become very annoying, having to rewind to where you were after a lengthy conversation. Just awful interface and if I have to control this with my phone then kinda defeats the purpose. Only got them because I thought I lost my other ones, the TOZO brand, then found them so I'll definitely be returning these. Just very frustrating to use. Normally I'd say the low price justifies it but there's just better options for the same price. I won't go high end because there's just too much chance of losing or ruining them for me so I stay around the $30 or under range just in case. But I'll be trying out some other ones as backups and returning these because while I want the over ear option, these are just too annoying to use. Trust me, you can do a lot better for the same price, unless you just NEED the earloops, but don't dare pay more than $25 for these. You'll regret it. They tell you to press and hold a key but don't tell you what a key is. Other directions state to control is via 'continuous and quick clicks' some say taps and some say press and hold. They don't even tell you how to turn these things off manually. I've discovered you touch theme to control but it takes more than just a touch, it's almost a touch and short hold. If you don't get the touch and hold timed correctly it's not registered and thus not counted, i.e. 1 tap is volume and 2 'taps' are to play/pause. When trying to play with 2 taps there is a long delay after 2 taps before play starts but you've already tried to tap twice again. I'm always fighting this and it takes forever to get the things to start playing after getting them out of the box. Then if you pause and take them off and don't put in the box they are still on and will take phone calls that you can't hear. Besides no directions on how to turn off you have no indicator that they are on. Very poor control designs. I'm only keeping them is due to the low price and this is really a trial to see how well I like or can handle earbuds while doing lawn work.
