Nice looking feeder |
This is a very pretty feeder. The instructions are fantastic. I was able to connect it to the app and Wi-Fi with no problem. The camera quality is great. I have not gotten any hummingbirds yet but am confident I will soon. I really like that it comes with everything you need to hang… cleaning tools and an ant moat.So why the 3 stars. It didn’t come with an SD card. For a $200 feeder it should have. All my other smart feeders did. No built in solar, but I knew that when I ordered it. Again, for this price point it should have solar. But the main issue is the camera alert. Because it isnt fixed on a tree or pole it swings which triggers the camera. I even have the motion detection set to low. I had to turn alerts off because I was literally getting alerts every minute. I originally had it hung with an ‘S’ hook from a tree but the movement was so much I moved it to a Shepard’s hook. It still moves a lot to trigger the camera but not quite as much.It is a nice looking feeder and my attitude may change when I get hummingbirds but I’m not sure I will ever see the images captured on the camera because of the sensitivity of the trigger. |
