We were Whistle customers for years, paying for the unit and at least 5 years of the service subscription but recently had to move on. Over our time of ownership the unit proved to be unreliable, with at least three of them just going belly-up for seemingly no reason, however, on each occasion Whistle replaced the device. This week our unit again just croaked but this time Whistle wouldn’t replace it and said I’d have to purchase a new one. No way. When I asked them to cancel my subscription they had the nerve to offer me two free months - for a device that was dead. Goodbye Whistle; I’m sorry to every other dog owner I ever recommended this thing to. |
