I've only had it for a week so far, paid the subscription for one month, and it already had some kind of network problem. They did send out an email notification that says there was an issue and that they are working on it. Also it seems to have gone offline maybe about twice for no apparent reason. They may have had network issues with the gps, but it should not affect the bluetooth or wifi functionality, right? This device was sitting at home and then I put it on my dog for a walk, and nothing was updating even though my phone was nearby.Another time, I find the device not responding on the app. So I tried to restart the device and did the long press on the button. The logo lit up in red for maybe at least 5 minutes. I thought it was broken because it usually says "Goodbye" within 15-20 secs, and gave up on it. And then it just randomly said "Goodbye" as I was talking to a relative of mine mid conversation and scared me.Lastly, whenever I turn on the device, I believe it's supposed to say "Hi, welcome to Pawfit", but between the words "welcome" and "pawfit" there's a bit of discord or static in the recorded voice that it sounds like "welco....fit". When I recieved the tracker, I was more than impressed. I was ecstatic at the design and the lightweight aspect.The warm fuzzies quickly vanished when I saw that I couldn't do ANYTHING with this tracker without a paid subscription. I paid. Not only did I sign up for the premium subscription, I paid for a full year. Excited to get started and write a full review of the features in app and on device, I was stopped in my tracks with a crashing app that wouldn't allow me to register the tracker. I ended up on an embarrassingly long loop of attempts and crashes.I contacted the company twice and, to be fair, they responded quickly with a list of steps to get the device working. Unfortunately, the device simply won't activate. After contacting the company, 2 emails were sent out from the company regarding network issues and thanking subscribers for their patience (somewhat presumptuous in my opinion), and I waited about 5 days before attempting to activate the device and have full use of the premium subscription to do a proper review for the device. Alas, I am still unable to activate.So, I went to the app and requested a refund. Guess what...THE APP CRASHED! I just sent a message to the company requesting a refund and hopefully they will have the same sense of urgency as before and respond with confirmation of my refund.I will update this review if anything changes in regards to activation or getting a refund.* I recieved a response from the company within 24 hours regarding the refund. I checked the app and the subscription has been updated to show 'expired' so I'm waiting for the refund to hit my account.
