It the second item I have returned in the 6 years I've been an Amazon customer. I wanted these to work. I was excited about them. The shape of the cuff that goes around your ear also hurts my ear after about 10-15 minutes of use. It’s noticeably uncomfortable, for me at least. So depending on your ear, these things might not really fit, just keep that in mind. If you’re not someone that’s overly cautious like me and you’re not worried about cranking it, you’ll probably enjoy these. But, those worries on top of it hurting my ear just from the shape, I ended up returning these. I won’t ever use them, as my $20 jlab go air pops literally sound about 2x a good and I can keep them quieter and still hear it. If you’re in an environment with a really noisy background these things are really hard to hear and it’s just not worth it for me. I think they’d work for the right person, though. That’s just not me. I’m taking my money and putting them towards AirPod pros so I can choose when I need noise cancellation or transparency. My biggest gripe by far is that they remain connected an active when you take them out of your ears. I also need ear hooks because, for whatever reason, the shape of my ear does not hold standard earbuds in place.I wore them for a few minutes and here are my impressions:-They paired easily enough on the 1st try-They don't feel secure when I wear them and was wondering if I was putting them on wrong, but no, I was putting them on correctly. I get that they are "open-ear" but they just don't get close enough to my ear canal to feel secure. The hooks feel fine and secure, but the bud part just sort of flops around, and they flop around much more if I get up and move around. I would never run or jump with these on as they just bounce all over the place.-I was disappointed at the sound when I listened to music. Just not very hi-fidelity. Maybe that's the deal with open-ear. If I press them in a little closer to my ear canal with my fingers, they sound great..... but I certainly can't walk around like that.-Also, as well noted in other reviews, the controls are lacking important functionality like volume control.
