First what I like. It's very easy to install, everything works as advertised, the menus are easy to navigate and you just about don't even have to read the instructions. It does NOT have any type of night vision whatsoever. Night vision requires infrared lights and this has none. Tested in the early morning hours before sunrise in a completely dark area and you can't see anything reasonable. My bodycam, on the other hand, does have nightvision. When it moves into a dark area you hear a relay click inside, the infrared lights come on and the screen turns to black and white. This dash cam does not do that. So it does not have night vision. Secondly, the rear camera does not record. They did not say if it did or it didn't but touting the future of front and rear cameras suggests that you're protected in the front and the rear. For instance, if your rear-ended and the person takes off on you you have no video proof of anything because the rear camera does not record.Overall it's a good camera system and I do like it but I'm disappointed on those couple of points. | UPDATE: Customer service is excellent.
