My goal wasn't a replacement for the same quality, but a lower quality was expected for a lower cost. The ear fit was OK, but if doing physical activity such as running they can become loose and risk falling out. This isn't a deal-breaker, as I have had issues like this in the past. However, after less than a year, the case isn't catching a full charge any more. Over the past 10 months I have went from needing to charge it once a week to three times per week. This is inconvenient as I travel frequently and need the longer held charge. On and off all day. Gym 2 hours a day etc. I typically take 15-20 calls a day and most of those are a couple hours each.I bought these because they advertise on every podcast I listen to. I wore out my second set of basic AirPods after 18-24 months of extended hard use and was sick of their mics cutting out after a year or so.These Raycons fit nicely and connect quickly. They look good, and have decent sound quality. That’s where the good ends.The WORST thing they do is get off sync. Example, when I listen to an audiobook or podcast and get a phone call that pauses what I’m listening to, and then the call ends, then what I was listening to resumes, sound is not synchronized between the L and R bud and it creates a horrible echo. I have to disconnect them and reconnect. It’s extremely irritating and it happens a dozen times a day. It’s the absolute worst and ruins whatever I’m doing, whether it’s enjoying a book, podcast, or listening to music in the gym. The second issue is the sound doesn’t go loud enough. Even with the volume maxed out, it’s hard to hear a phone call when there’s ambient noise like a small fan or a treadmill. The third issue is they randomly disconnect or stop producing sound. Again, disconnect and reconnect fixes it.I think these might be alright for somebody less busy than I am.
