I manually dispensed a portion and it only provided 8-11 grams total in my tests. Look elsewhere if you need to dispense more than approximately 11 grams of food per feeding. I would have thought a $90 dollar item would have made it to 3 or 4 years at least, so I'm extremely disappointed that this stopped working with little warning. The plastic hopper for the new smaller feeder also feels much cheaper and less quality wise than the original version. See the pictures for sizes and the new much smaller version of their feeder. I will likely be returning this deceptively marketed product. It's a shame.
