At least once, the lid popped open when toppled. Otherwise, the feeder works fairly well. App can program multiple daily feedings of varying amounts. Two other issues. (1) the rubber gaskets that seals the lid falls out easily and needs glue to secure it to the lid. (2) a single unscheduled feeding can be initiated remotely from the app but does not play the voice recording to announce the feeding. The only alternative is to add an immediate feeding to the scheduled and then remove it, so it does not repeat every day.I returned the product to look for a more stable feeder. If unsuccessful, I would reconsider this feeder and build a stabilizing platform with 4 posts spaced to fit in the 4 holes in the bottom of the unit under its removable rubber feet.
