I bought it to help monitor our two young cats while we drive cross country. We did some trial runs before we left and found that the 3M stickies on the bottom would not be sufficient to anchor the camera when there were treats involved, so we upgraded to double-sided tape/velcro. Within a couple days of leaving the treats disappeared and the cats wouldn’t come out when we called, and then when the cat sitter refilled the camera, they took down that camera like a lion takes down a wildebeast, Velcro be damned… the catsitter found it in the basement and reconnected it. Then they took it down again. Then she emptied out the treats and hooked it up again. But it was too late - once the Wi-Fi connection was interrupted a hard restart didn’t fix it, and frankly asking the cat sitter to download the app and reprogram it was just a bridge too far. So essentially this was a huge waste of money when tested against actual cats.
