Garbage App - Untrustworthy Device |
At first I praised this thing, but now? It’s an over priced piece of crap.The app is the reason I shelled out $139 (at the time) to buy this at Petsmart. I travel a lot and the convenience of knowing I could feed from anywhere and schedule my cats meals was very important to me.Again - at first it was great. My scheduled feeds were on time, the app notified me every time his food was dispensed, the app notified me if there was a low food warning or if the machine detected a jam. Now? I get zero notifications, the firmware needs updating yet the app doesn’t seem capable of even doing that, if I open the app and select “dispense” the log doesn’t register the executed task…When I’m home it’s clearly showing online but any time I’m away from home I get “offline” so how the fucc do I know and trust my animal is being fed his scheduled portions when I’m not around? I’ve tried to reset this crappy machine multiple times and I suspect maybe the firmware could solve the problems IF it would fuccin update.All of these issues completely defeats the purpose.
