It’s not as bad as they say |
I’m gonna give this a 1 star review because I know people are gonna go straight to the bad things first, and because my cam didn’t come with an instruction manual. However it is a very good product for the price, all my cameras work however the adhesive for the rear camera is a little weak. But the app works fine although the WiFi connection is weak, still good for why I use it though, I only needed the monitor for when I start my car in the morning to warm up(remote start) before I go to my car because I live in Chicago and theft is a big thing out here and it gets cold as he!! Also the app only works when the camera is on, once you turn the car off it shuts down after 5 mins, the motion sensor works too but could be a little more sensitive you really gotta hit the car or tap the cam for it to come on, also the front camera mount is a big plus, because trust me your gonna move that thing around a bunch just to get it in a good spot.And the set up is not difficult at all. Everything is almost automatic except for formatting the SD card so for anyone reading this here’s how you do it: press the middle button on the left side twice and scroll down to format and click ok, it takes a sec but it’s not difficult at all. And finally again I didn’t get an instruction manual so I didn’t know how to set up the rear cam properly but it still works. Just can’t use the reverse function with the lines and sh!t, but w/e. MAKE SURE YOU FORMAT THE SD and it’s a decent product for the price. I’ll try to come back in 90 days if this thing is still working to give it a better review (like a 3 or sumn) but in the meantime I do recommend it for a budget cam |
