Sound quality is very good on the earphones, but it's advertised as having a microphone in the product description and it does not. There is no mention of a microphone on the packaging and the manual and, in fact, while it paired just fine with two different phone, it was just for the speaker sound--the microphone from the phone itself continued to be the one in use.In addition, the \blue light\ and \alternating blue and red light\ referred to in the manual to indicate power on, waiting for pairing, and so on, are non-existent. There are no indicator lights of any kind on the ear buds, just on the case that shows charging level.Not completely useless if all you want to do is listen, but useless for calls, or recording. |
Sound quality is very good on the earphones. I updated this review since originally I thought that the microphone didn't work or it didn't have one. But turns out it's a major limitation of Android that bluetooth microphones only work with \phone calls\ (including Whatsapp calls) but not with voice recorder apps (not even Whatsapp voice messages). The large touch pads on the earbuds are particularly easy to operate.However, the \blue light\ and \alternating blue and red light\ referred to in the manual to indicate power on, waiting for pairing, and so on, do not work at all (another review also mentioned this), but I can live with that, so for $12 I'll keep it. Incidentally, I got a nice message from the seller via Amazon on my original review (where I thought the microphone didn't work) and while he did not point me to the Android problem (I discovered that on my own), it was very courteous and pleasantly unexpected. |
