This purchase has been a disaster. I have worked for the last two weeks to get it to work, but no luck. I have spent literally HOURS on this silly thing, and there is a seeming unending list of problems. I get one problem fixed (often after contacting Birdfy and spending a half hour chatting with one of their people) and then something else goes wrong. I've checked that my wifi is 2.4 g, but the feeder just can't or won't connect to my network. I have tried everything. Sometimes the scanner won't work, sometimes it won't even power up. It is extremely frustrating.I'll stick with my $20 hummingbird feeder. |
They tell you that this only works with a 2.4g wifi system, and that’s true. Be careful!The support people were really kind, and helpful, and patient as we worked through my being certain that I had 2.4g (I do NOT have 2.4, as it turns out). They actually sent me a second unit to try in case it was their fault. As it turned out it wasn’t their fault, but I would give them five stars for speed and trying to be helpful. |

I was chosen by Netvue to be a Mystery Customer. What the entails is purchasing their Hummingbird Feeder and then reviewing it. In return, I would receive a refund of the purchaseprice. I ordered the feeder and after trying to set it up, it would not charge. I contacted Netvue numerous times via email a phone and after them getting back to me and agreeing it was a defective unit, had me send in documentation along with their provided form. After many calls and two submissions (with them saying it was never completed properly, which they were). I finally got frustrated with not only their attitude but their total lack of customer care. Have run companies and having CS departments under my control, they are by far the worst I have ever seen. |
After writing a negative review, I’m updating my review after working with Anna their head of CS. She has been absolutely incredible to work with. From sending replacement product, to walking me though setup. The answer was working with the right person.Netvue, thank you! |
