The sound alert works, but the squirrels just sit there and stare in the camera. I have included hot red pepper flakes, but that makes no difference either. I will not use cayenne powder because of risk to the birds eyes. And that just leaves the very expensive professionally coated cayenne enriched seed. | Edited:The camera is clear and the birds enjoy the feeder. It is enjoyable to see the birds close up feeding. This company makes a good product and stands behind it. The company has heard my situation and will reimburse the purchase. I think that is stellar. All in all if you consider that every bird feeder has squirrel issues then my comments are null if you plan for squirrels.
