There is not a wall plate that this attaches too to avoid the swinging in the wind. I have set the alerts for birds and animals but every little movement alerts. The camera quality is not so good. The two cameras look good in theory, but not really that great if the hummingbird is at the far right feeder (again the picture quality is not great). Which all my hummingbirds seem to land at. The solar panel for charging is great and the app set up was great, but that is about the extent of good I have found with this. For the price point it is not worth it. The red light does flash as it is “charging”, but it never seems to indicate full charge (solid red light). When we have pushed and held the button for 5 seconds (as instructed to activate the camera) several times and to pair the device with the ap, we see no indication or light (no solid red, flashing blue, or solid blue) as described in the manual to indicate it is working.We think this device is likely defective. We have attempted to reset it using the pin tool by pushing it one time and then a while later three times, but again no changes.Tried using the “support system” chat, but it requires that I stay in the chat in order to read messages they may send to me (hours later). If I leave the chat, go to another ap, and then reenter their chat, it starts a new chat whipping the old chat. This happed three times. Very frustrating.I called their phone line and after many minutes of hold music, was forced to leave a message. Return call occurred 5 hours later and by then I was at work. Return called had not read my emails, nor listened to my VM. I could hear his Rooster in the background. Very hard to understand him. This was a great example of poor service. All he offered was to send me an email with forms to fill out, no solutions. Says they are “inundated with complaints”. Obviously they are either under staffed, overwhelmed with bad product or bad implementation issues, or all of the above. All denotes bad management.Also, the ap often crashes which also whips the chat “help” “service”. Extremely frustrating.
