I had to force the feeder top for opening to the point I really thought it would break. Way too tight, so the tab isn't the appropriate size. The battery compartment has similar issues; I think I'm going to break the opening tab every use.When I went to download the camera (Bird Lover) app I knew I was in trouble immediately from the overwhelming number of bad reviews. Yep, I had all the same issues one-star reviewers did, including many "Operation failed" errors on the app settings. By "many", I mean "failed every attempt".I can't figure out how to get the camera to detect a bird and record a video automatically, like all my other feeders do. On this one, you can get a "bird detected" notification, but then it's up to you to start the app and record a photo or video. Unless you're sitting right on top of the phone and the bird feeds for a lengthy time, you'll likely miss the whole event.It's too bad the feeder has these problems, as the video quality is acceptable and the feeder design (not construction) is quite good. Maybe the manufacturer can make adjustments to boost the quality and usability.
