This seemed to solve the issue from 0 to 8 times out of 10 dispensing relatively equal portions.The other improvement I wish they made was include a partition between the 2 bowls. My cats don't necessarily fight for food but occasionally one or the other will get in the mood to smack the other while they're eating and that prevents one of the two to stop eating and one to take over both bowls. I had to tape a piece of cardboard where the splitter is to prevent this from happening. But I guess this is just a individual cat issue. Though I am sure this is more common than not.I also have the water fountain, I prefer to keep all the cat devices in one app for easy access, viewing, and control so I was reluctant to move to a different brand just for a feeder. Some specific notes:- Video History (great!)I really appreciate that petlibro offers the SD card option as an alternative to purchasing their cloud service, this to me is a good sign that the company recognizes that different users have different needs and is willing to provide the options to meet those needs (even if they may prefer selling you the cloud service).- Device Settings (great!)I appreciate the number of settings available to plan not only the feeding schedule, but a lot of the other features on the app, you can decide to enable or disable sound, you can decide to have status indicator on and off, you can disable sound, you can edit detection settings, camera settings, notifications, measurement units, etc.Looking at past reviews, I have the impression that a lot of these settings are new, and that gives me confidence that the company is active in working to improve the user experience.- Camera loading time (could be better)The live view on the camera is a bit unreliable and inconsistent. I had to turn it on SD to be able to watch my cats without lag (even though my wifi is high speed and I have no problems with other HD cameras on the house) and sometimes it simply gets stuck on the logo loading page and will not come up at all. I would love to see improvements there.- Playback volume can't be turned down and overrides Android settings (bad :/)Watching the video playback on my phone will ALWAYS play sounds on speaker, even when every volume setting on my phone (calls, alarms, media, notifications, etc) is on volume 0. There are no options on the app to mute of turn down the volume of playback. I believe this is a bug and would be fixed soon.- Food splitter (not a problem but a wish)I know the double tray is already a feature that many brands don't even have, but I really wish they had an option to use the feeders with 3 bowls. I understand they have to draw the line at some point, I just wish that number was 3.
