I have basic electronics that are wall powered, but will also keep removable rechargeable batteries topped up, and this dispenser does not do it. You will have to keep an eye on the battery level and switch them out periodically.Outside of these complaints, the dispenser seems to be fine. It's easy to assemble, refill, take apart to clean, and it holds a good amount of food. It could definitely be better and is bad in a few respects, but otherwise I don't regret purchasing it.
