The app that connects to the camera is plagued with annoying ads to subscribe to their snake oil pet care plan that promises vet like advices every time I open it. There is not an option to opt out of the ads within the app. At the one year mark, the treat launcher kept getting stuck, it didn’t matter which size gate I put in. The treats would get stuck and malfunctions. The night vision was great at sensing when to turn on the night vision but horrible at recognizing when to turn off the night vision in a well lit environment unless you shine a direct light at it. The treat storage does not latch well sometimes and a smart pet will figure out how to open the storage. The treat dispenser is a good idea to keep in touch with your pets from long distance but can also create a situation where you lose a bit of the bonding between pet if you personally have the pet the treat.
