However, I could not get the bird feeder to link up with my WiFi. I downloaded the app, read the instructions carefully, asked others for their insight and tried numerous times to get the bird feeder camera to connect with the app on my phone. I even watched videos of others getting similar WiFi bird feeders to work.If the WiFi were to work, ideally the bird feeder could be placed high in a tree or in a secluded area and you could still see the birds eating. The camera is right in front of where the birds eat. We since put a clear round squirrel guard under the feeder and has since taken care of the problem so far. Purchased the AI feature and was a waste of money. Tells us our chickadee's in MN are from,,,, not MN. And not chickadees'. Its been a duck, king fisher, parrot from Africa, cardinal, fork tailed fly catcher, a pet passing by, Omaro from Hawaii, and many others. NEVER a Black Capped Chickadee. So the AI is definitely not worth diddly. Despite all those pluses, I'm not impressed.Installation was incredibly frustrating because it took 20 minutes to get the camera to scan the QR code, in addition to some issues with assembly (instructions unclear) and app set up.However, my biggest complaint is that the AI just does not identify the birds. You have to sign up for their subscription to get access to the bird identification. Then you have to turn on the bird plan. After all that... it still does not work. Disappointing.
