Hasn't attracted many humming birds |
So I bought this particular hummingbird feeder for my dad for his 83rd birthday. I do like it but there is many things that I don't like. For instance it doesn't come with a microSD card You have to use the cloud. They only give you a 30-day event recording where it records events or birds coming to the feeder and then once that's over you need to pay for it month to month or yearly. You can only have one phone connected to it and then that one phone can share it with anybody else on the same Wi-Fi network. If you put water in the moat to stop and some going in, here in Arizona it dries out in half a day. You also can't hang it from a rope because it's very front heavy and it will lean too far forward to hang so it must be mounted to a wall which means you're only going to get half a day's sunlight or like I did, you can make its own stand but still if it's in the middle of your yard it's going to get sunlight all day but the hummingbird nectar is going to be extremely hot. It is nice that everything but I thought it was going to attract more birds and more hummingbirds to it. It is right by another hummingbird feeder that's hanging but yet nothing goes to it. I hope this review helps people when they're purchasing this particular hummingbird feeder with the nests in it and solar panel on it. |
