It works but not for bird pictures. |
I got this camera to take pictures of birds (and critters) on my bird bath. The setup of the camera was pretty straight forward. Taking pictures on the other hand... First off, my camera is about 4 feet from the bird bath. The picture is a blurry squirrel getting some water. I had called to find out if the camera could take pictures while the birds are present, and it can, however the notifications are about 5 minutes too late. All I can do is watch a video and then screen capture that. And the results are a blurry picture from a blurry video. I've contacted support and was given directions to "unfog" my lens. That is not the problem, the problem is the picture is blurry. If they can't find a resolution to the issue, I'll be sending this back. There are less expensive cameras that can take pictures just as good. |

Cover photo is not accurate |
I just received the camera and haven't used it yet but when I was assembling it I noticed that the picture on the box does not match the actual camera. It is upside down. If you try to assemble it as it is on the cover, the antenna hits the bar holding it to the wall. In reality the connections to the camera are on the top. Although they are covered, it seems like a strange setup exposing them to the elements. The lens is actually on the bottom of the camera not the top as in the picture on the box. The picture on the instructions is accurate. I'll update my review once I get it up and running. |
