Nice little camera |
This is actually a nice camera with ok motion detection. The view is clear and so is the audio. Sadly it did not include any sort of wedge so I will have to design and print one before I can mount it. The recording of your own messages is a nice plus along with a multitude of chimes to select from.Update, I finally printed a mount that pitches down about 10 degrees and right 10, now it can see straight down the driveway to the gate.I noticed there is no way to reboot the camera either from the app or from the device itself so I reached out to their support which was actually instant but said the only option was to reset it to factory. This makes no sense to me to have to start over with everything so deducting another ⭐, after more tinkering with it, I figured out that quickly pressing the power button five or so times powers it off, you can then press it again to power it back on.One other issue and I'm not sure if that is what's causing it not to detect motion unless human detection is on, is there is a smudge on the inside of the camera lens. I wiped the outside but it's still there so must be internal. Or a ghost... |
