Buttons on the side is the worst possible place. Sounds okay, waterproof, stores music locally. |
I will start with the biggest negative, and that is having the buttons on the side. A better spot is to have them on the bottom so you can press them with your thumb and hold the top with your other fingers. The buttons themselves are also stiff and require a lot pressure to push them.Alright on to the good stuff.Good water resistance since the drivers are not exposed. (you can swim with them on)They get pretty loud.Can be heard with earplugs in. (not sure how that affects your eardrum though)Lightweight I can wear them while running.Transferring music to them is super easy. I plugged it into my laptop and boom. Immediately recognized as a 30GB storage device. And I can just drag and drop song into. Transfer speeds terrible either.I wish it came with more than one of the rubber things that increases pressure.I have a open air headset in a similar shape as these. But the sound quality is much greater. However, they are also not even close to the water resistance of these bone conduction headphones. So I would say if your in the market for open headphones, make sure your okay with trading sound quality for water resistance. They sound pretty good though for being sealed.Calling them bone conduction headphones also seems to be a stretch for me since I can hear them fine without them touching my head and just holding them in front of my ear holes. It actually seems like they have more bass when not touching my head.Overall I like them for the most part, but I could never recommend them because of how stiff the buttons are while also being side mounted buttons. |
