Great camera but eats the batteries and Wifi is unreliable |

I have owned and used dozens of trail cams through the years. Tested this one out in my backyard first. I was really hoping the Wifi would allow the opportunity to log in to the camera and view through the camera. Just never really worked well and repeatedly disconnects. I have two different wifi routers and both are the later models. Battery life declines very quickly, even 25% reduction after two nights of very few pics and videos. I disabled the wifi so battery life would be longer. I have come to the conclusion that Wifi trail cameras are just not the best alternative. This camera would probably work best with direct AC connection. |
Wifi is a little slow just needs some time. Wifi does consume battery life so best to have solar panel or direct AC connect. Really high quality photos. |
