I bought these on sale and I think they are worth what I paid. I was disappointed at how little instruction the product came with (no schematic of buttons on the ear buds, microscopic type in what info was provided--seriously, how much would it cost to do this stuff right?). That said, I'm no tech guru but I figured it out. The case is sleek and the buds click into it nicely. The markings indicating left and right buds are extremely hard to see (tiny, embossed), so I took a light-green Sharpie and filled in the embossed circle on the left bud only, and now I can tell them apart easily. This is invisible during use, not that I would care. The sound is good and the price is reasonable for what is essentially a convenience item (I have a perfectly good set of corded ear buds, but the cord can be annoying). My biggest complaint had a workaround: the buttons on the buds themselves are WAY too sensitive for anyone who wears glasses or has hair, or ever puts their hands by their ears, perhaps to adjust the earbuds' placement. I was constantly hearing beeps and tones letting me know I'd just adjusted... something... somehow... while attempting to carry on a conversation, I was glad to see in the reasonably helpful app that I can simply turn off all functionality of these buttons. That works for me (I can make adjustments while using the earbuds by using the familiar methods on my phone, which is nearby anyway). BOTTOM LINE: Not perfect, but good enough for my purposes and my budget. |
