Looses connection a lot |
The cameras are constantly loosing connection and it announces it every time it disconnects and reconnects. This gets really annoying. We turned down the volume so we couldn’t hear it as much, but that also turns down the volume when you’re trying to speak through the camera. It also has trouble connecting when you’re trying to “enter the camera” through your phone. This is not an internet connection issue. We ended up returning them because of this. The video quality is pretty good although it does get more grainy the more you zoom in. Audio isn’t as good as if you’re having an in person conversation. It was a little echoed and at times went in and out. The videos at least save easily to your phone. Another issue we ran into is how short the cable is. We wanted a high angle camera we could mount closer to the ceiling and were unable to do this given that electrical outlets are closer to the ground. It did however have a 360 video that worked well when we tried to have it on a countertop. However, for our purposes, this did not work for us. Overall, for a less expensive camera it’s not a bad option if you’re just looking for a pet camera or something to check in on every once in a while. |
