The camera is great, but the packaging, instructions and icloud options are awful

I have a few of these actually, and all the cameras work really well. The audio is great, the picture is great.The instructions though, are not only bad but they add problems. The QR code on the box took me to the smart life app, but the instructions book took me to the little elf app. Both of the apps told me to scan a QR code for the product which doesn't exist. I scanned every code on there, and they were all app links. There's an Allen wrench included in the box, which the book refers to as a :pin" but doesn't tell you what its for, there's nothing on that camera with an Allen head on it, so i have no idea why they sent it. The cloud package options, are also bad. They have options for 1 or 2 cameras, but that's it. The price for 2 is 7.99 a month which is on SALE, and that's quadruple what apple charges, triple what google charges for cloud storage, and apparently I would have to buy a 2 camera plan and a 1 camera plan to cover all three of mine, if that were possible but its not, at least if you have an iPhone you can only have one active storage plan at a time. So if you buy more than 2 cameras, you are screwed. |
