Update: I installed a third camera at another angle to discover, wait for it....Both cameras with a light TURN THE LIGHT ON WHEN LIVE VIEWING! uhm, what? The settings specifically state the camera will NOT turn the light on in the black and white mode I have selected. So here I am, months of trying to figure out what is waking my birds up AND ITS ME LOOKING AT THEM. I took the cameras down and did some switching around. I placed the camera with no light in the coop. Maybe they heard all the unhappy feedback as I was outside in 112° working on them because within 24hours they all 3 mysteriously barely function at all.While working on them, I left them on, obviously. Unafraid to voice how ridiculous they are. While working, they would randomly blind me- the lights come on at random, whenever they want. There is no rhyme or reason. I even tried turning off motion sensing altogether. I worked on the cameras and monitored them for 2 hours. I have screen shots, photos, screen record, etc showing this is NOT user error.And it would seem my latest email regarding the lights (I've never received a response from the seller on anything) landed my app in jail. No videos can be played now. At all. They will spin and spin then "fail". The app is by far the worst its ever been rendering all 3 cameras useless. If I can get the messages to load, it shows that they are capturing very little of anything.Their packaging and website states they extend a return policy to 365 days but if you email they just shut your app down.Initially I really appreciated these cameras. I have 2 and have a third on order. They're for my chicken coop and run. Now that my girls have started laying and I'm monitoring everything very closely, some huge issues have now presented themselves.Not only do these cameras struggle to reliably capture motion, but when they do, the videos skip and glitch. And that's IF you can get the videos to even load. The live feed is hit or miss and the recordings seldom ever load. If they do, a 10 second clip can take 3+ minutes to playback. Excruciating. I bought a $700 wifi booster to ensure I have more than enough range and speed. It makes no difference at all.I have very fast up/download speeds standing at the location of the cameras, as you can see from the attached photo.The good thing, they're solar. And have remained at 100% charge. Excellent idea, poor execution. The help menu/FAQ are in engrish, so I've not gotten much help at all there.I put in a support ticket with no response from the seller. |
