Impossible to access videos through app

It is impossible to access the videos through their app. They require you connect your phone to their built in camera Wi-Fi to access anything the camera has recorded. The issue is that the cameras Wi-Fi is awful and it disconnects almost immediately. There were a few times we managed to stay connected long enough to start a download of a clip, but then the download never got past 1% after ten minutes, and of course then the app’s Wi-Fi disconnected again. The entire purpose for the purchase was to access the clips immediately in the event of an emergency, but that is impossible with this camera. One time I was able to access the live stream, and the quality was so bad you couldn’t see anything (see attached picture).I want to add that I am in a location with great reception, not in a rural area so reception or interference are not an issue. Again, I do not recommend wasting your time on this. Will be returning it myself as it is useless to have at this point. |
