The only thing I wish it did was take short videos when it detects motion and messages that video to me. It doesn't do that. I have to look at the time stamps in the messages and then scroll down the timeline for the day to the time. It doesn't scroll very smoothly and I end up either too far ahead of the even or after the event started. I wish they would put the motion detection on the timeline that you just tap on and then it loads the video at that point. But it doesn't do any of that. It does have a very clear video stream and night vision is excellent. I just wish it was better at navigating to the alerts and less manual scrolling. |
This camera has a very clear video stream and night vision is excellent. When you get an alarm, the software opens and I click the image that looks like a chat bubble with three dots. This loads all the alarms and I click on the blue text that says \View\ to jump right to the point in the recording that triggered the alarm. The camera has been very helpful to me to identify which of my cats has been getting into trouble when I'm not there. |
