How it saves is odd when trying to retrieve the recording, seems to always miss something. Still some other nice features such as night vision and stuff, really kool but my main things needed makes me put this item as a 3. Although they don’t tell you at all how to “power on” the camera at first. You screw the wall outlet connector on and plug it in to an outlet. Once I got the camera connected and set up, I screwed it in to the light socket outside my front door. The camera was on but it would not establish a connection to the video. So I had to use the chat help feature which was nice, but not super helpful. I ended up have to plug the light back in, remove device on the app and reconnect it all over again. Got that done then screwed it back in to the light socket and the video worked this time. Except when I used the remote button to turn the camera, it turned and then disconnected again. I was annoyed by this point. Also, the video view is very small. It doesn’t have a wide angle at all so you can’t even see your whole driveway or whatever you have it pointed at.
