They did connect to the phone, but the humming will not go away even after resetting the earbuds in the case three different times, still upon connection with phone there is a humming sound of the left earbud even while music is playing right earbud had slight initial clicking sound but it has subsided oh and there is absolutely zero bass in both earbuds and the sound is very small and flat | Update — OK I’m rewriting this review because of the outstanding customer service that I did receive after my initial review. Customer service was very quick to reach out to me and help me resolve the issues with the first pair there had to be some type of crossed mechanical/electrical issue since the issue cannot be resolved via Resets and their other possible solutions the item was replaced. Upon receiving the new set updating firmware and tweaking the EQ to my liking I am pleasantly surprised with the sound quality. You really do need to download the app and mess with the EQ to get a good desirable sound; sound of course is subjective to a certain extent I am actually pleasantly surprised with the ability to have a astonishingly, balanced and natural sound Also, the sound is not distant which is a great thing although the soundstage is not spacious, and spatially surrounding, so I cannot say that the sound quality is immersive, but for the prices you’re paying, these are great and very very close to a nice resonating natural sound just not all encompassing I would like to see more of a pro equalizer. Even a para equalizer would be amazing in the app and the rigidity of the composite diaphragm seeing that it is not my normal diaphragm preference I am quite satisfied with the frequency capability. We will see about the long-term durability. As far as build construction I think they are very durable and I love everything from the build of the case, and the earphones themselves.
