The bird feeder camera prompted me to format the SD card in the app. So I did. The seller offered me a free SD card for a good review. I didn't mind because all was good when I first set it up.The app is decent. I had a bit of difficulty adding the device as my phone does not have a QR code reader. When I installed one, that didn't work neither because the app tries to read the QR code from the camera on the phone. Luckily, my kid's phone does have a QR code reader so she installed the device and created my account. Once my account was created, I was able to log in from my phone.One tiny little hiccup from an otherwise wonderful new toy. Another hiccup, not even a month into usage, the cable that connects the camera battery to the solar panels on the roof broke. It's a good thing this camera comes with a separate solar panel.There is an opening on the top front of the feeder that allows small animals to climb in. This is a defect. The roof should seal the top of the feeder. It does so at the back but not at the front.
