Maybe it is the camera, the app, the brand, I am not sure, but I am back to mount & retrieving for now. I have had mixed results with them. I am not sure what happened to one of the cameras. I placed the camera in an area with deer traffic moving through and the camera captured nothing after initial placement. The camera had a picture of my son and I putting the camera up and then pictures from it sinking but nothing else. It actually stopped sinking which made me think something was wrong. When I placed the camera it had new fresh batteries. The app showed the camera having full batteries and between 50 and 75% signal strength. After a month and half in that spot I went out I retrieved the camera to figure out what was going on. The camera showed full batteries in the app but I never received any pictures at the time of retrieval. The camera appeared as though I was able to trigger it manually on the app but it never snapped a picture. After replacing batteries and moving the camera to another area I started getting pictures on it. I actually swapped another spypoint camera into the spot that the first camera was in. I have been getting pictures of deer daily from that camera. The g-36 camera with issues has been taking pictures now. About half the pictures I get are blank and the other half are deer after they walked past the camera. I have this camera set to maximum sensitivity and the fastest reaction settings and still get blank pictures. I know it is missing pictures based on what I am seeing from another camera that covers the same area. My other spypoint cameras have been great but one of the two in this back seems to not be so great. When the questionable camera captures pictures sometimes they are very clear and other times moving animals just look like a blur. The other camera in this pack captures very clear pictures. So far the one camera has not been on par with my other spypoint cameras and the other one is great.
