It worked great for the first 5 weeks. The 20w solar panel was more than adequate to keep the battery at 100% even on overcast days.The unit is mounted about 30’ from my WiFi router.After 5 weeks of use (when the free cloud service expired) I had problems connecting to the camera with the app or viewing live stream video or getting motion alerts.I have been trying to resolve with customer support (there’s a communication barrier) but have been unable to resolve the connection problem. |

I am disappointed with the highly advertised feature of 24/7 recording to SD card. It only works if you have an internet connection! What since does this make???? A camera powered by the sun with an internal 128 GB SD card cannot record 24/7 but with an internet connection it can??? So imagine the thief visits your home and cuts power, guess what, your internet is down and 27/7 recording stops... |
