Structurally unsound design |
Cons:The whole light housing/structure is held to their mount by only two tiny set screws on either side. The housing itself when turned for the best camera angle can't be locked fixed in position. Which means that anybody can walk up to it and turn the camera away from where you want it to face. The lights also turn independently but can't be locked or fixed into position.Any amount of force would literally tear these away from their mount and with it you're footage of the incident...The lack of expandable storage on the unit, simply giving you access to the memory storage or having an additional memory slot wouldn't have taken up any more space. Or really incur them any additional cost.Pros:The daytime camera footage is wonderful, and so is the audio quality in both directions.Personal speculation:Maybe possibly that's by design, I mean eufy would love if you subscribed to their monthly online recording storage or bought one of their home bases.These lights are highly overpriced for the amount of plastic, cheap LEDs used in the lighting housings, and for mounting design. |
