I have no idea why every little earbud thinks it needs touch controls on it now. If there was an option to permanently disable touch controls on the earbuds, I would use it. I use my device to control the audio.-One of the reasons I got water proof earbuds is so I could use them in the shower. While the IPX8 rating does seem legit as they have SURVIVED plenty of water already, the issue with the unwanted touch controls again rears its head when using them in the shower. If they get a bit wet the touch controls go crazy and usually lower the volume or stop the audio. This happens consistently. So they are getting in the way of my primary use for the earbuds in wanting them for showers. Will they SURVIVE water? Yes. Can you actually use them if they get a bit wet? NO. This is why I lowered my review to one star.-Also the earbuds don't stay in that well. I also got them hoping I could use them while I jump rope, but it's been tricky finding the right size of included ear cushion that will stay in securely enough for that. There are extra ear cushions included you pop on and off, but most of them seem to be the same size like there are only two sizes total.
